A Page Turned, A World Discovered

I've been sooo swamped with preparing and sketching for my next projects
that I almost forgot to update about my latest display!!!

Just a friendly reminder that when we read books, when we explore different stories,
we're taken into different worlds that we would otherwise never get to be a part of...

Photobucket

Sometimes, we get to imagine we're a damsel in distress in a medieval adventure,

Photobucket

or that we're conquering a different city, making a name for ourselves
in a different world all together.

Photobucket

Other times, we're stranded, left on an island,

Photobucket

Photobucket

or lost in the forest of thoughts in this crazy new story we're sucked in to,

Photobucket

floating way way awayyy from reality!

Photobucket

But it's always a great adventure, thinking someone else's thoughts,
placing yourself in someone else's swash-buckling shoes,

Photobucket

riding a different kind of wave, drowning in someone else's sea.

Photobucket

Wherever you go, whatever story you read,

PhotobucketPhotobucket

it's always going to be an out-of-this-world time! :-)

Thank you to everyone who helped!! :-D

Oh wow. I am officially a fan of your work. I admire what you do, and I know how hard and at the same time joyful it is to come up with visual displays. You are a true artist! Congrats on these!

Anonymous -- Sorry just saw your comment now. If you ever get to read this again hahaha it would take us about 3 hours to compose each window. That includes drawing the design on the glass with wipe-able marker, and following it with the airplanes. :-) I had 6 people fold 2000 airplanes each for the span of 2 weeks. I have a LOT of extra though! Maybe even half of that hasn't been used... Hahaha!
